The COMET Parachute Signal rocket, red - SOLAS -, approved to SOLAS/MED/USCG is designed to withstand even exceptional environmental conditions and to ensure reliable operation even after immersion in water. The pull ignitor and improved grip provides easy handling. The rocket ejects a red flare at 300m, which burns for 40 seconds at 30.000 candela.

Required on the ship bridge and kept available on board the life boats and rafts.

U S I N G
  1. Hold signal firmly by ribbed handle.
  2. Unscrew red bottom cap - do not point at people or property
  3. Hold rocket vertically above head pointing away from body.
  4. Ensure hands remain clear of top. To fire - pull red ball sharply down.
