The COMET handflare, white is using for collision warning and for illuminating small areas. Designed to withstand even exceptional environmental conditions and to ensure reliable operation even after immersion in water. A unique telescopic handle ensures minimal space consumption, thus the signal can be perfectly stowed. Handle and pull igniter ensure easy and safe handling.  The hand flare is burning drip for 60 seconds at a light intensity of 2.500 candela. After activating the hand flare continues to burn even underwater.

Also available in variant COMET hand flame, red (Art.Nr. 9162800) as an emergency signal for the exact position marking by day or night.

LIFETIME

Pyrotechnics distress signals have a lifetime of 3 years.

USAGE

  1. Pull out white end until the telescopic tube is fully extended and engaged.
  2. Unscrew white end cap and point away.
  3. Pull ball out sharply to fire.
  4. Hold at arm’s length. Point Lee (downwind) End plug ejects after 2 seconds delay.
