Day & Night Signal AL1
Dual-purpose signal consisting of orange smoke at one end for use by day and a red flare at the other end for use at night
The handheld Day & Night Signal is designed as a compact personal distress signal for divers, helicopter/aircrew and any situation where a robust and waterproof signal may be required. Both ends ar operated independently and use of one does not affect the functioning of the other at a later time. The recessed end of case identifies the flare end to aid identification by night.
Housed in a corrosion-resistant aluminum case and protected by interchangeable aluminium end caps with ‘O’ ring sealing, the signal is waterproof down to 30m.
