The Handsmoke Orange CF3, is a hand-held day distress signal designed to ensure easy and safe handling and function. Due to its dense, orange smoke for a period of 60 seconds, the signal offers an effective position marking during rescue operations and helps to determine the wind direction.

Pyrotechnics distress signals have a lifetime of 3 years.

 

USAGE

  1. Hold Signal safe at the grip and remove brown screw cap.
  2. To ignite pull the ignition band sharply to fire (Keep hands away from the top).
  3. Hold signal at outstretched arm Lee (downwind)

  • Signal produces a hot flame – do not direct other people or objects!
  • Do not breathe fumes!
  • End plug ejected – do not point at people
  • Do not use in confined spaces!
  • Keep out reach of children!
  • Use only in an emergency!
  • If damaged or dented do not use!

  • Keep away from sources of heat!
  • Do not use after expiry date!
